Hannah is Headed to London!

Hi everyone! My name is Hannah Rabinowitz and I am a rising junior at the University of Pittsburgh! I am a Rehabilitation Science major and I hope to become a Physician Assistant in the future. I also have a certificate in Conceptual Foundations of Medicine and I am a member of the Frederick Honors College. Outside of the classroom, I love to take long walks with my friends, explore new restaurants, and read.

In just a few weeks, I will be boarding my flight to London for the Healthcare in British Context program. During this program, I will be taking a Comparative Healthcare course and participating in an internship. My internship will involve completing projects aimed at improving the patient experience at a local hospital. I chose this program because of the invaluable opportunity to study medical care beyond the United States. I am so excited to gain first-hand experience in a different healthcare system. I believe having a well-rounded understanding of healthcare is very important, and will greatly improve my skills as a professional. This six-week program is the perfect opportunity to grow personally, professionally, and academically. I can’t wait to immerse myself in the English culture, explore the city, meet new people, and learn from my classes and internship. I look forward to sharing my experience with everyone!

Cheers!
