Staying in Lisbon has been everything I had hoped for. The people, the food, the overall culture. Along with getting to know Portugal and all it has to offer, it is hard to resist the beauty of its neighboring country as well, Spain!! I have traveled to Barcelona before and that was when I fell in love with Spain. Being so close to it again made me want to visit a whole new side to it, so I was off to Seville for the weekend.

Seville was gorgeous. It had so much to offer. I loved that it was so different from both Lisbon and Barcelona. I visited everything it had to offer, well as much one could visit for a weekend. The churches were absolutely stunning. I also did find out on this trip that the body of Christopher Colbus was kept here, so that was interesting to see. Growing up I have always had an appreciation for architecture and Seville definitely did not disappoint when it came to that. Even the malls looked very cool. I also had the chance to be in Spain when they played in the world cup, which was very cool to experience.

Overall, I did enjoy my getaway to Spain. It made me remember why I loved it so much. Seville offered such a small quiet town vibe, which I really do love. Although I did enjoy my time here, I really do look forward to being back in Lisbon. Being here has made me appreciate being in Lisbon a lot more too, which may sound strange. This weekend trip was definitely an adventure, and I hope to travel to another country soon.
