Hi there! My name is Sophie Gustinis and I am in the Dietrich School of Arts and Science as a freshman pre-pharmacy major. I chose to participate in the Bioscience Breakthrough program in Berlin for the summer of 2026! I chose this program as a pre-pharmacy major interested in the differences in medicine between countries. I hope to gain insight on the reasonings behind these differences and whether it has to do with health care, education, or cultural diversities. What I am looking forward to the most is exploring a brand new city and being able to look at it with my newfound knowledge gained throughout my Freshman year. I hope to learn more about scientific innovations as well as myself.
