Berliner Bioscience: Sophie misses Germany );

Looking back on my experience in Berlin I have changed so much in such a short amount of time. Berlin exposed me to new experiences, knowledge, and culture that will forever remain in the depths of my heart.

I have formed deep connections with my peers who have provided their perspectives to conversations that helped me to become more open minded. My favorite part of this journey was the networking and the amount of people I met from all over the world! It has been amazing to dive into such a historical city and to have the privilege to learn about how we arrived at the medicine and scientific innovations that we have today. This opportunity has given me more insight on my future and where I want to end up. It showed me that I am not just confined to one space and traveling (or studying) abroad is necessary to truly understand the empathy that comes when experiencing new traditions and lifestyles. I am forever grateful to those who made this opportunity possible and I do hope to continue my study abroad journeys in years to come! Miss you already Berlin!
