Hello, my name is Jacqueline and I am currently a junior here at Pitt. I am majoring in Sociology, minoring in French and Dance, and obtaining two certificates in Nonprofit Management and Global Studies. I currently work as a nanny and dance teacher.

I am a part of the Virtual Global Internship program. I am interning at Disability Sports Australia, a nonprofit focusing on creating opportunities in sports for disabled school aged children. I am really excited to be participating in this program because it is allowing me to gain vital global professional experience. I also have not had the opportunity to have a stereotypical “internship” in my college career so I am looking forward to developing my professional skills further. This program fulfills a nonprofit internship requirement for my certificate. I would like to learn more about working on the global scale, gain experience working on a team, learn the behind the scenes operations of nonprofits, and create meaningful networking relationships.
