Phillip Santos is an undergraduate student pursuing a BPhil degree in Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry and Business. He is working on projects investigating the mechanisms of development for germ layers in emerging stem cell models and is interested in learning more about synthetic biology as a regenerative medicine. Phillip hopes to one day utilize neural stem cells to address degenerative and congenital disorders of the brain. In his free time, Phillip enjoys playing video games and strategic card games; spending time outdoors camping and hiking; and socializing with friends and family over a home cooked meal.
