Hello! Before I head out to Argentina, I wanted to think ahead about how I expect to grow personally and professionally on my trip.
I am very excited to expand my Spanish language skills and immerse myself in the culture, making mistakes and learning to communicate more effectively in the language, using it as much as possible. Additionally, I hope to step out of my comfort zone and go out of my way to make new friends and make the most out of every possible experience.
Professionally, I am excited to more learn about global health care systems and how the politics, history, and culture of Argentina have shaped the healthcare system there as we know it today. I hope to apply what I learn to my future career and understanding of global health.
